Or at least the beginning of one. I’m getting ahead on my poplar Hitty’s head and body and I’ve left her arms and legs behind.

I guess it’s time to work on those.

Hitty’s face has been really difficult. I think I’ve redone the basic features far too much trying for symmetry. I’ve given up on trying for symmetrical, now I’m firmly aiming for acceptable.

I figure there are enough doll loving girls in my family that I will have plenty of opportunities to figure out where I’m going wrong. I am also appreciating the skill that it takes to work in such a small scale.
