Home ownership is a pain isn’t it?
Our house is from the 40′s– we sort of expect things to go wrong from time to time. What we don’t expect is for everything to go wrong, all at once, all the time.
So there’s just a bit of water damage in the bathroom. Just a little. I mean, it’s not like we have to tear out all the dry wall and replace studs.
Right?

Okay, so– I’m guessing this isn’t just going to be a roof repair and bathroom remodel. It kinda looks like we’re going to have to replace dry wall in both of the bedrooms and then buy me a brand new bucket of sanity.

We have a house of the same vintage. We keep saying that we love the character and individuality.
sometimes i wish we owned our house again, and then the hot water heater goes out in the middle of the night and just a little while before that, the heat would click but it wouldn’t go “woof” and give us heat when it was like, 25 degrees out…no fun…then i am glad to rent for the time-being. peace to you and good luck with the repairs.
