I went out and bought a TON of polymer clay and I made little animals and I want to use them as knitting needle protectors. I spent 4 hours shaping some animals and then went towards the oven to bake and realized I don't know how to fit it for the needle. I'm stuck and this is the only place I can find on Google that has the word clay with protectors....so please somebody help me. I hope I haven't wasted a bunch of money. Maybe I should have made the clay around the store bought rubber protector or this would probably be bad in the oven. If I bake the animals on top of the needle will I be able to get it off?
