Spinning! This is a dyeing experiment that didn’t quite come out as expected but quite pretty. It was supposed to be lime and dark blue, however all the blue sloughed out in the rinse leaving a light gray behind. I wasn’t quite sure about spinning it up but the grassy color made me happy so I decided to give it a go.

I also started the first step in turning our bath into something a little more presentable. The tiles around the tub are old and ugly (not dirty, just *really* ugly) so I asked dh to pick up a clear shower curtain, a curtain bar, and a white liner. We hung the liner next to the wall and clear curtain towards the tub. The tub sliders are tempered glass that have frosted swans on them. I’ve yet to come up with a theme other than “covering the ugly wall tiles” so it’s plain right now.
Okay so it’s not normal to have a shower curtain inside the tub cove, but it’s so much better than staring at those tiles. (Did I meantion they were ugly?)
